FAQ
A typical bathroom takes 3 to 5 days, including preparation, application of multiple layers, and sealing. Larger surfaces such as living room floors may take 5 to 7 days. We work methodically to ensure a flawless result with no shortcuts.
In most cases, yes. Microcement is only 2–3 mm thick and can be applied directly over ceramic tiles, concrete, or plaster — eliminating the need for demolition, dust, and additional costs. A site visit allows us to assess your surface and confirm suitability.
Absolutely. Once sealed with our professional-grade sealant, microcement is fully waterproof and ideal for wet areas including showers, wet rooms, and around bathtubs. We use Topciment® products specifically formulated for continuous water exposure.
Microcement is very easy to maintain. Simply clean with a pH-neutral detergent and a soft mop or cloth. Avoid abrasive products. We recommend re-sealing floors every 2–3 years depending on traffic, and walls every 4–5 years.
Topciment® offers an extensive palette of over 80 colors — from warm whites and sandy beiges to deep charcoals and earthy terracottas. Finishes range from silky matte to satin. During your consultation, we bring physical samples so you can see and feel the options in your own space.
